  • I did a combination of Hostel Stay & Airbnb for my 7 day stay.

The hostel was very clean and staff were extremely friendly. This is convenient for someone who is looking for something very affordable. I paid 25 Euros per night for a bunk room (female only room). This hostel also had a lounge downstairs with great cocktails.

  • Airbnb: 9th District great location away from the center & easy access to metros*

We also had the comfort cooking at our Airbnb. We purchased groceries at local markets + fresh baguette from the bakeries near our stay.

  • We walked 95% of this trip + Metro. Tickets for metro were purchased at designated station. Tickets for museums + Eiffel Tower + Disneyland were purchased beforehand at home, since reservations were needed as well.

  • Italy may seem so overwhelming, with so much to do, but we managed to get through a lot in 8 days.

Rome- Coliseum (purchased tickets online beforehand) Trevi Fountain was closed (we went in October) Vatican- we did not purchase tickets to go inside, we enjoyed the views & appreciated it from outside to avoid the crowds.

Meta - Took a bus to Sorrento & walked around the small beach town

Florence- Visited many thrift stores, walked around every nook & alley & explored!
